Our grand tour
Not much to report today. We didn't get in to Tucuman until 10.30, then the next bus to Cafayate wasn't until lunchtime. We got in there late afternoon and spent the day walking around the small, pretty town. It's nestled in the Andes and all the neighbouring mountains stop any cloud, meaning it almost never rains. This also makes it perfect for growing Torrentes grapes (for white wine), many of which are sent to Mendoza. We hadn't realised but it's almost just as big for wine!
We had dinner at a restaurant where there was a guy singing local songs, it was quite nice (although the service in general is SLOW).
