We started the day by going to some of the other suburbs. Firstly we headed to Palermo Soho, which was really cool and had loads of squares for drinks! We walked through Palermo to the botanical park, then over to the Japanese gardens.
After a few hours walking through all the gardens we walked through Recoleta, which was really cool, then headed back. The weather was lovely and we had a really nice afternoon.
Later we went out to do some tango! I'd found a club called La Catedral where people came to practice tango, and they did some lessons for beginners at the start. It was really cool and felt much more authentic as we were at a real milonga.
We had our lesson, which had limited success because neither of us are very coordinated, and Rob can't hear a beat! It was also all in Spanish which didn't help... however it was really fun, despite Rob's reluctance at the start. After we stayed and had a couple of drinks whilst watching the professionals practice. Everyone was getting up and dancing with everyone else, they were incredible to watch. It carried on until late that night and we had a great time.
