yo since i last wrote we have done so much! the week in rio was amazing, we did all the touristey stuff of course and also went horse-riding with a guy who worked at our hostel, he has 4 horses so he took us to his livery yard and we had the best day ever! we also went to a football match, which was pretty boring but the atmosphere was amazing! on friday we met our tour group, who are all really nice. we went out for dinner with them and then went back to ace...

had such an amazing few days.... sat night we went out into lapa, which is where all the brazillians go (we went with bernado-the guy who works at the hostel and then some other hostel guests). hellloooo there!!!! we have arrived!!! the hostal is nice, its in a district called botofogo, its quite residential so not very touristy, but its easy to get to cocacabana, ipanema, and the centre so its okay!! it seems safe aswell which is the main thing! there is a nice guy on reception who is going to take us out one night and there seems a good group of people staying here so hopefully will have a fun week! gutted that the weather is rubbish though, its hot...
