After Vietnam came back to Thailand spent anothr day in Bangkok which was good saw the other side of Bangkok which i prefered and met my uncle and auntie there spent the day with them. That night we had a really crap bus journey to the south of Thailand got on the bus about 7 then got dropped of at some station on the way down and had to wait for 2 half hours at 5.30 in the morning for another bus to take us to the port was stupid. We got the bus to the port then got on a ferry to Ko Samui which was ok bit boring had a nice beach but no night life was just full of couples and families.
After Samui we went to ko toa which was really good Lucy did her padi there and i just lazed on the beach. Was quite a strange little island had quite a nice strip for going out was in the middle of no where just a random little road the only proper pathed bit. Was really good. We spent 5 days on koh toa.
After koh toa we went to koh Phangan, which is were the full moon party is held. We met up with Christina who we met in Chang Mai and she stayed in our room with us. The full moon party was awesome. The night before me went to the pre full moon party which they just has entertainment on. They had a skipping rope that was on fire which anyone could do was funny some guy set his trousers alight and didnt realise until everone started kicking sand at him to put the fire out.
The full moon party was brilliant beforehand we went to a BBQ which was nice. We got to gthe beach about 12ish quite a few people were already passed out on the beach by this time which was quite funny. Most of the bars played techno music which was a bit crap some music was ok but got a bit boring after a while. We met all the people we had made friends with in koh toa randomly bumped into them which was shocking with the amount of people on the beach. We stayed dancing on the beach until the sun came up then it got too hot so went in the sea was nice. Lucy met some guys from nottingham on the beach in the morning and one of them was a guy from back home sooo random. We stayed on the beach until 9am then got a taxi back. Was planning on sleeping most of the day but one of ours friends woke us up at 12. We got up and just lazed by the pool and recovered.
While in koh phangan we hired out motor bikes which was an experience at first had lucy on the back was so hard to keep my balance so we went on it on our own and took it in turns while the other went on the back of the other guys bikes. We went to the north of the island to a really remote beach which was beautiful. All the roads there were just like dirt tracks tho so nearly fell off. So dangerous but was fun. One of the other girls that came with us fell off her bike and cut all her arms and side. Wasn't very good. They also had to pay soo much for the damage to the bike even tho there were only a few scratches.
After koh phangan we went to Phuket were we met 2 girls on the way was an eventful journey took about 12 hrs and did every kind of transport possible was stupid went on about 2 coachs and 3 mini buses. We arrived in phuket at 1am even tho we were meant to arrive at 9 the night before. Everyone said phuket was pretty boring but we enjoyed it. The beach was nice although there was no shade so was baking. There was quite a good strip with loads of bars on. We went to one bar which was buy 1 get 1 free on cocktails which were lovely and we got free crisps lol. The bar staff kept playing jenga with us aswell. Lucy lost so got a free shot of tequila which was he punishment although a free drink isnt really punishment although lucy didn't like tequilla. Wehad pictures with some lady boys in phuket as well which was funny altho one of them grabbed my arm and bruised it stupid person. It rained a few times while we were in phuket but was always when we were in the bars so didnt matter.
After Phuket we went to Koh Phi Phi which is beautiful. Was hit really badly by the Tsunami but has been built back up but the locals still live in little shanty huts which is quite sad. there are so friendly and nice even tho they have nothing. While on phi phi we went on a day trip around the area. we went to the island were the Beach was filmed which was really nice. We went snorkling and kyaking (can't spell). That was good, think we were the laughing stock tho coz about 3 boats webt past and took pictures and laughing at us but we enjoyed it. We were so good at it we think were going go into the olympics lol.
The night life in Phi Phi was good we were there for St. Patricks day which was good just went to the Irish bar surprisingly full of irish was a good night altho it rained all night. It rained every night on phi phi but mostly before we went out so wasnt to bad but one night just didnt stop all night. no one seemed to come out when its raining so must be crap in monsoon season. We made friends with some of the guys at one of the bars that was quite fun. We did limbo under a rope on fire and the 2 girls who were still with us from phuket one of them caught her boobs on it so had a massive burn mark.
One night me and ami joined in the bar game which i won and i got 2 free buckets of some kind of alcohol was soo good i spent £1.80 all night and got rather drunk but was good got loads of free drinks coz we got drink vouchers to so was a good night. Rained quite a bit tho. One night while we were on the beach a guy started on one of the thai lads and they absolutly beat the crap out of him never seem such a bad fight. The thai guys are pretty hard no idea why you'd start a fight with them. there only small but no fat on them at all. Were we stayed in phi phi was gorgeous should be for how much it cost but was worth it such a nice place. We loved it on Phi Phi.
After Phi Phi went to Krabi. took us ages to find accomodation but when we did only cost £5 a night and was nice simple but good. Wasnt much to do around the area but was still nice. was about 40 mins from the beach. one beach we went to was lovely but the other one wasnt that good but wasnt too bad. Ami and Rosie our friend who we met on the way to phuket left us in krabi 2 days before we went so me and lucy were on our own again. Was quite strange as we hadn't been on our own for 21days but was good. We spent a few more days in krabi then got a flight to malaysia. This is the end of our Thailand trip. Will be weird to leave thailand after so long but good to go somewere new. Nice to gete away from the beaches for a while.
