Hey! We are now in Byron Bay we left Sydney last night at 7pm and arrived here at 9am today. We had an amazing time in Sydney, now we are in youth hostels we are meeting loads of people, we went out for free drinks on the wednesday night, gave my birthday night a miss as we were too tired from the 2 nights before going out with Annas friend Trish. Anyway with the hostel we went out with about 10-15 people and had lots of free Champagne, I actually spent no money that night!! We met loads of people from our hostel and decided we would stay to go out with them all for St Patricks day. On the wednesday me and Claire were out all night got home at about 6.15 in the morning and I had a shower and went straight down for brekkie at 7am. Amazingly loads of people were still up too either going to work or just getting back so we all sat together and then decided to head to Bondi beach for the day (its lush!). About 8 of us headed off on the train and bus I thought I was gonna die I was soo tired, I slept all day on the beach. I must have missed my neck with the cream though cz I burnt half of it being asleep doh! We went to the Sydney aquarium on my birthday, it was really good saw sharks, seals crocs and loads of fish, and jelly fish yuck!! We also went to the Blue Mountains the next day, they are beautiful. They have a blue haze above them because of all the Eucalyptus trees giving off oil. We went to a wildlife park and Claire and I held a big snake, and we cuddled a koala and stroked a kangaroo, it was really good. We also went to an old fashioned sweet shop, I was in my element!! Sydney is a reallyt nice city as well especially when it is sunny but you could spend ages there we had to drag ourselves away!! Hope all is well in England!!
