Cecilie | Around The World
After a long bus ride and the obligatory tourist-stop (at some weird place where they try to sell expensive stop) we arrived. We walked around the area with our tour guide AK, who is a good guide. He told us a lot about how they hid and lived in the tunnels. It's insane how they could live in these tiny tunnels for almost 20 years! They made systems, so they could hide the smoke with really long chimneys and smoke tanks or make sure they didn't get floated, when it rained. They were really smart! At the end of the tour we got to try to go down the tunnels, and it was difficult to 'walk' down there. You couldn't stretch you legs or your back, so your knees got really sore. It was a good trip, very educational.
