Hooooli,

Bueno llegue a Sydney sufriendo mucho de la noche anterior, con un calor horrible y sin hostal, en fin es decir que en una mala situación!! En el aeropuerto me fui a información y ellos me encontraron un hotel, carísimo pero no tenia otra alternativa, definitivamente fue compra de tarjeta de crédito!!! Helen me había dicho que me podía quedar con ella para año Nuevo así que no había tanta emergencia!

Ya estado aquí en Sydney y me sorprendió todo lo que me acordaba, me familiarice inmediatamente, además con el metro es súper fácil.

Bueno, Sydney fueron 2 semanas de puro cachondeo, beber y muchos desmadres! El año Nuevo fue fabuloso, hicimos cola desde las 10 de al mañana (aunque nuestros amigos estaban desde las 8 guardando puestos!!) pero teníamos unas vistas de la opera house y el Puente increíbles, , ahora mira yo no se apreciar arquitectura pero la opera house me encanta, nunca me aburro de mirarla!! Pase el año nuevo con Helen, amigos de ella y algunos de mi grupo de Fraser island.

Tuve suerte que un montón del grupo que conocí en Asia estaban en Sydney, así que me encontré con ellos, y eso so que fue bueno porque recordamos y recreamos muchas noches buenas en Tailandia!! Mucha gente que conocí en el norte también estaban aquí asi que pase mis días en la playa con ellos o paseándome por Sydney. También conozco a gente de Londres que vive aquí y dos de mis amigos de la Universidad también estaban en fin estuve bien acompañada!!

Esta vez evite lo turístico porque ya lo he hecho todo la ultima vez, y me dedique a conocer Sydney, camine un montón, me perdí y encontré todos los días y así la verdad es la mejor manera de conocer una ciudad, siento que conozco Sydney mucho mejor y además me siento bien y segura aquí-me encanta!! Fácilmente podría vivir aquí, es la ciudad que lo tiene todo, es limpia, grande, tiene cultura, movida, buen clima y playa!!

Por supuesto que hubieron días donde me sentía un poco sola o cuando llovía y no podía ir a la playa, además esta es mi primera vez en Australia sola, también hecho de menos a Julie y estaba un poco preocupada del dineral que me estaba gastando!! Bueno y la acomodación en Sydney es horrible! La acomodación en Asia esta mejor que aquí, bueno no los hoteles por supuesto pero acuérdense que yo estoy en dormitorios asi que compartiendo habitación con 6 o 8 chicas y chicos porque es lo mas barato y también conoces a mucha gente. Pero si en Asia también no te importa que sea una mierda porque estas pagando una libra, aquí pagas 15 y el sitio esta asqueroso!! Pero en general aparte de eso muy bien.

Yo ya sabia me encantaba Sydney pero ahora lo tengo confirmado. Tengo planes de volver pero no viajando, pero a trabajar y vivir una vida normal por uno o dos años! En todo caso esta súper caro por aquí, a veces era como estar en Londres! Después de 2 semanas de vivir el sueño tuve que hacer planes para seguir a Melbourne donde vive mi amiga Mesha que siempre me trata como una princesa!!

Hey all Happy new yr & all that jazz,

Well obviously got to Sydders with the hangover from hell, boiling hot & no accommodation-so yes not the greatest of predicaments to be in! Went to info at airport, literally plonked my stuff there (with the total intention of living at the airport for at least 2 nights!!) but they found me a hotel, it was extortion compared to what I was used to paying but I had little choice-credit card purchase that's for sure! Helen (who I met in Thai) was there & said I could stay with her if I was homeless so emergency averted!

I've been here before & was amazed at how quickly I managed to get the hang of my whereabouts!!

Sydney was one big massive piss up. New year was awesome, queued from like 10am but was right on the harbour with fab views of the amazing opera house (which I never get bored of looking at) & the harbour bridge. Spent it with Helen, some of her mates & some of my mates from Fraser island.

I was lucky that a lot of people I met in Asia or up on the east coast were in Sydney so I was just hookin up with them, going to the beach, out on the lash, walking around, getting to know Sydney better, getting off the usual tourist trail. Some of my Leeds uni mates were here too & it was lovely to see them! & Emma who I worked in La Senza with for 2 years lives here now (b****!!) so caught up with her as well.

So yeah in all it was wicked, there were some days were the weather was crap & I was depressed, especially because I was in the most gross dorms ever! It actually pains me to say but accommodation in Asia was of a better standard than here. Plus in Asia you're paying 1 pound a night so even if its crap you don't mind, here you're paying 15 pound a night for a total dive!!!

I knew I loved Sydney before but now I feel that I got to know it a lot better, got lost & found myself every day & I now love it even more, I could definitely live here! There are deffo ideas in my head of coming back here for at least a year to live & work, no travelling, just having a normal life!

Unfortunately though Sydney is also ridiculously expensive, at times it felt like I was in London!! So after dossing for 2 wks & living the dream I made plans to head to Melbourne to spend time with my lovely friend Meshe!! I was well sad to say bye to Sydney, my favourite city in the world & Helen as well who I had got really close to, but I've said it before travelling is also about saying goodbye to lovely people you meet along the way, that's deffo the worst part!!
