On road antics.... hmmmm hum hum - we did scruff it until last night at a roadside stop over (eeek to the toliets and huge mossy bites on our bums!) and feeling like true backpackers nowthis morning as we sit eating breakfast at a Youth Hostel camp site in Hervey Bay! ;) Actually liking the youth hostel (pics to follow!), you share a kitchen, good showers, pool and tennis tables, swimming pool, internet and even a bar and free brekkie - brill value at 4.50 Briti...

Just about to leave the vibrant city of Brisbane for the great outdoors. Bear with us as will be limited where we can log on now but rest assured will make up for it in the week. Have a good week at work ha ha haaaaa !

Hi all, wow we are really the other side of the world aren't we - needing to give way to Koalas and Kangers crossing the roads and all! ;) City of Brisbane has many neatly packed funfilled districts to explore and shops and arcades are certaainly not in short supply. Last night we ditched our thongs and really ventured out into the district known as Fortitude Valley to sample the local delights, a shall we say "less civilised" area - definate requisite...

Feeling Hot hot hot, Brisbane is heating up nicely! Been out and about over the city today and planing the forthcoming road trip north. We are now fully equipped (have bought a proper map) and ready to roll. Gonna pepare now for another night on the town and sample some true Aussie clubbing adventure in Brisbane's district known as Fortitude Valley so no time to sit typing this blog ! More to follow....
