Decided to hitch-hike home to save money which was really cool, got back in 9 hrs and its usually an 8hr journey so there was not too much waiting around.

Christmas and New Year was mostly spent, eating, drinking and realxing on the beach - just a little different from at home and i did miss my friends and family but Kiwis are very accommodating and i had a very nice time with Trent's family and friends.

Slight change of plan with the travel arrangements - i have decided to move on from New Zealand as my new job didn't work out and work is hard to find here. So i am taking a 2 week holiday to Sydney to catch up with some people and then heading over to Tasmania to travel round there for a week.
I come back to Wellington for a weekend at the end of Jan to say goodbye and tie a few things up but then i plan to go to Canada, travel round and hang out there for a bit. I still plan to have my birthday in Las Vegas but will be just having a short stay in Mexico and heading back to the UK around mid April..
