I had an awesome weekend away in Taupo which is about 5 hrs north of Wellington. It was a fun-filled weekend packed with loads of activities such as rugby, fotoball, mini golf, scenic walks, card playing, drinking, eating and parasailing.

I decided as it was a gorgeous day to go parasailing over Lake Taupo and it was really cool, you take off and land on the boat so i stayed dry. I did the extreme parasail which is 1000ft and i found it really relaxing checking out the view from up there.

Other than that we had loads of bbq's and just chilled out - there was a big group of around 20 people all really nice.
