Back in Mexico City! I sometimes wandered if i would ever make it back here to catch my flight, but i have, with a day spare to wander round and buy some Mezcal. Hi Guys Well i think i am done with those long bus journeys the 12 hr trip from Belize was my last long stint on those crappy buses so i have come to Tulum to rest for a few days. There is a small Mayan site here which is pretty cool with the ocean as a backdrop, been staying in cabanas but there are too hot! I have a very relaxing time here just hanging out on the beach, lounging in hammocks and going for walks along the beach, i wish it could it could last...

Hola, Just spent 2 days in the deep jungle looking at more ruins, was so cool though as it wasnt as touristy out there and you have to get a boat to one of the sites. The hostel in Palenque was ridiculously noisy though and i got about 2 hrs sleep before leaving for the trip. Its pretty cool hearing the sounds of the jungle at night and trying to spot wildlife..only saw one monkey though and i think he was just hanging out at the village. Met a lot of locals...

Hey Guys, I've reached Palenque and I'm staying in the jungle by the ruins in a place called El Panchan. The bugs are really big out here but its very pretty and has a great back to nature feel. I have just been to visit the ruins and they are pretty impressive, climbing up the narrow, steep stairs are hard work in the sun but its really fascinating and really cool that these ruins are in the jungle. xxCat
