Just spent 2 days in the deep jungle looking at more ruins, was so cool though as it wasnt as touristy out there and you have to get a boat to one of the sites. The hostel in Palenque was ridiculously noisy though and i got about 2 hrs sleep before leaving for the trip.

Its pretty cool hearing the sounds of the jungle at night and trying to spot wildlife..only saw one monkey though and i think he was just hanging out at the village. Met a lot of locals some dont even speak much spanish but Mayan instead, the kids were so cute to talk to - well i tried speaking the little spanglish that i know.
