So Monday was when my adventure began... After a very busy last week at uni, and a very stressful packing session it was time to head to the airport

Arriving nice an early (6.15am) I calmly passed through immigration and check-in, sat down to eat breakfast and then panic set in- Dad had my phone!!! Half an hour later, with the help of some very nice passengers and airport staff we were reunited! Time to sit back down and wait very impatiently (for my almost 3 hour delayed flight!!!)

After a 7 and a bit hour flight sandwiched in-between two very lovely ladies I landed in Newark, New York.

At the airport I had a wander around looking for food and eventually settled for a corn dog, Mmm! I boarded my flight at 6pm (but with the 6 hours time difference I was very tired by now, 5 hours later I landed in San Jose and took my transfer to the hotel.

The hotel was Hotel Ricon De San Jose, a basic but very pretty hotel. I met some of the other girls to would be on the tour checking in and decided to meet them the next morning! My room was nice, two single beds although there was a lizard in the shower. Feeling absolutely exhausted I fell to sleep straight away at about 11pm
