At 6.30 am we got the "local bus, for local people" to Phnom Penh. The aim was to get to Phnom Penh in time to get our connecting bus to Kampot or Sihanoukville. But due to a flat tyre en-route, we completely missed our connection and were stuck in Phnom Penh for another night, after Cathryn saved some lives of tuk-tuk men at the bus station from the wrath of a tired Jen.
Rang our surrogate mum at Sunday guest house (Gech) who sent one of her wonderful tuk-tuk men to save us from the mayhem of the bus station. Again, she sorted out our bus tickets. In return Jen broke a computer, locked us out of the bathroom in our room, and Cathryn walked through some freshly laid concrete (look out for the Birkenstock stamp in the pavement if you ever go there).
