Sihanoukville in 24 hours!

After my two city stops I needed a bit of beach time but I was on a tight time schedule... I took an evening bus from Phnom Penh and arrived there late. I say arrived but the bus company, as always, dropped us off miles away from anywhere I needed to be. In the end I shared a tuk tuk to get to otres 2 beach.

In sihanoukville there are a few beaches. Roughly is goes like this. Serendipity =party strip, otres 1= half party half chill and otres 2=super chilled. I went for the latter and stayed at a great hostel called footprints. Not readily advertised and trying to stay small and sustainable, this hippy style place is perfect to unwind. It is literally on the stunning white sandy beach!

So I spent a day doing just that then took the night bus up to Battambang just as the rain started ;)! However if I had the time I would have stayed for weeks. Plus I was gutted I couldn't explore the Islands. Koh Rong and rabbit Island are meant to be simply paradise! Oh well, save them for the next time!
