TODAY I CAUGHT MY FIRST WAVE!! It was amazing! It's actually pretty tiring.. Take 2 is tomorrow morning :) Couchsurfing one more night before I move back into hostels!

I have had an amazing day today! I got a hair braid then went to the most easterly point of Australia. There was a lighthouse up there and the sea was the most amazing blue. I then attempted to sunbathe on the beach but it was so windy so I moved onto the grass! I then wandered round town which is really quirky! Surfing begins tomorrow...

Today I made the trip down to Byron Bay! It's a quirky surf town with the most amazing beaches! I'm staying with a girl who manages holiday homes and I'm currently staying in one FOR FREE! It's amazing! :)

Today I checked into my Brisbane hostel and booked the last few things of my trip including a 3 day surf camp :) I then went down to the Streets Beach which is a man made beach and lagoon in the city by the river which is really really cool! Just wandered round the city tonight.. Leave early (Ish) tomorrow!

Today I made good use of the public transport and took the trip up to the Australia Zoo. This is the zoo owned by Steve Irwin and his family. The first big thing I saw was the wildlife warriors show in the 'Crocoseum'! There were alligators, crocodiles, many birds of prey, snakes.. They were all really well disciplined and had obviously been well trained! A few weeks ago some tiger cubs were born so they were really really cute to see.. Then I headed to 'Africa' ...
