Well we got started today for our trip to Cape York. Left home at 5am in freezing temperatures. By the time we hit Collie it was -2. A lovely breakfast at Williams with a hot chocolate woke everyone up again! We stopped at Hyden to surf Wave Rock and do a bit of exploring. The kids and I had never been there so was a real treat. Well I have just set up a blog to record our trip to Cape York. Still in the planning stages but we are heading off in the school holidays in a few weeks. Trying to work out what to take and what can be left behind. Limited space and all that.....hopefully once we get started, I will update regularly and can document our trip. Hope to escape these grey skies and have an adventure!
