Today we went to marina mall by train, there was a lot of fancy shops and a promenade we had a look around then headed back to the hotel until our desert safari.

We got picked up and headed to a meeting point to gather all the the other people we were lucky the other 4 people pulled out as they had a sick baby so all the other cars had 6 people we only had 2 hehe. Once we got into the desert we were allowed to get out and climb a sand hill and get some photos it was very hot. We met a few Aussies who we were talking to about there travels. After that we did some driving through the desert or should I call it dune bashing it was crazy, scary but also fun we took a video hopefully we can upload it. We did this for about 30 mins. Brett asked if he could get in the front seat as he thought that would be better and I wouldn't break his hand. Lol.

We stopped again and got a few more photos 8 camels and a man walked past which was pretty cool the tour guy said they were going to the farm. We then headed to the place where we were having dinner it was a few grass huts with tables on the ground when we arrived we got to ride a camel it was funny how they got up and sat down I felt like I was going to fall off when he put us back on the ground luckily Brett was in front of me to stop me. Brett had a go at sand boarding but found the sand was to soft so only had one go it looked pretty fun. A guy was making sand ornaments in a glass jar which we bought, he drew a camel in it and mountains it was so cheap $8. We then got to watch a guy do a traditional dance which was alot of twirling with lights on his skirt, he did this for about 10-15mins I wondered how he was still standing practice I guess. For dinner we had a BBQ dinner and salad they had tandoori chicken, lamb, patties and pita bread with hommous Delicious. A lady then did some belly dancing which was a bit weird she had weird eyes and reminded me of Pete's freaky eye dance, next time I see Pete I m going to get here to belly dance and do her freaky eye dance lol We then headed home and went to bed, well after some cold stone which is like cold rock again delicious, luckily we are walking lots here.
