Yesterday we left New Orleans to head to Vegas we had to catch 2 planes 1 to Houston then 1 to Las Vegas it took about 4 hours flying but 6 hours in travel time. My ears behaved for me this time which I was very happy about.
We arrived in Vegas and checked in at the Flamingo we have a really nice view from the 25th floor looking out over the the Effiel tower and Bellagio fountains. We had a nice dinner out at a very expensive (whopps) steak restaurant $50 a steak without sides, Brett and I both agree best steak we have ever had well worth it. We had a wonder around the streets and headed to bed as I ve passed my cold onto Brett but luckily he doesn't have the cough which I still have.
Today we got up and walked around the strip in and out of casino we played a couple of pokies I won $30 on my first go I only put $5 in WINNING, we booked a helicopter tour of the Grand Cannon on Tuesday morning it will take about 4 hours and we get to land at the bottom. We found a Max Brenner I had to try the Tutie fruity waffles but they were not as good as at home.
We spent the afternoon around the pool, Brett's not feeling the greatest so it was a easy afternoon for us.
Tonight we went for a walk around the top part of the strip, saw the volcano show at the mirage and the pirate show at Treasure Island. We went to the Outback Steak house for dinner ( I know we had steak for dinner last night but we didn't tonight, everything was so busy we could get in any where else ) it was quiet funny as menu was all in Aussie terms, we had a good laugh at all the names.
We then went to Paris, the Eiffel tower wasn't as big as we remembered and they didn't charge for toilets either lol.
We did some gambling and explored a couple for casino before heading off to bed.
