Today we had to get up at 4.30 to leave by five to get to the ferry and get our tickets, the ferry left at 7 but it said we had to get out tickets 1 hour before departure, so we then had plenty of time waiting to board. The ferry took 4.5 hours it was runny late the sea was very rough luckily I know I m precious so I took a sea sick tablet early in the morning :) so I was fine but people where vomiting yuck.
We arrived to santorini and it was a bit crazy people trying to get you into there's taxi give you accommodation hire you a car. We were a bit overwhelmed and had some lunch then hired a car as taxis and transfers where expensive and we wee thinking of hiring scooters anyway so this works better. We got to the hotel it was quite easy to find and it overlooks the beautiful cauldrons. We went for a walk through Firestafani ( where we are staying) and to fira (the main city of the island) there was two cruise boats in, we saw people being transported up the hill by the donkeys( the poor donkeys there was heaps of them and it was a big hill)
After that we went for a drive around the island looking at some beaches and found a supermarket got some nibbles and beer. We sat out and watched the sun go down which was pretty it went a really nice red colour and then went out for dinner.
