Okay so i didnt manage to write a blog for Koh Lanta because the internet facilities there left rather alot to be desired. So this morning i arrived in Koh Phi Phi Don (thats the one you see all the pretty pictures of), and tomorrow Chris and Angeline will join me to make the accommodation a teeny bit more realistically priced. Tomorrow i plan to hire a kayak and go to koh phi phi leh which is where they filmed 'the beach' and the pictures look pretty good. I still havent managed to track down a copy of the book to read,,, for ultimate tourism, but i'll keep trying. I finished the kite runner yesterday and it was awesome, and i'm tempted to buy Ian Mcewans book 'on chesil beach' but i have to pay for that... Also i found 'the beach' is showing at one of the bars later so i'll prob head over to that. Everything is mich more expensive here, water is 20B compared to 6-10B everywhere else in thailand.Internet is the semi-standard 2B/min, but its fast so thats all the matters. Ermmm.... so i guess in general it feels like my thailand adventures, and my travelling stage one is drawing to an end now, because malaysia is only 4 days, and then its Oz, for party and work. Doesnt feel like its only been 5 weeks i've been away, but ive already got more memories than i can fit in my head (hence the journal) and met alot of cool people. But i feel that im ready to stop for abit and work and what will be really nice is to COOK because it struck me yesterday i havent been in a kitchen, cooked anything for myself for a month, and going from 3 meals a day cooked by hand; thats abit odd.
