Hello peoples, Welcome to Boston... I dont really know anything about it yet, I'm exploring tomorrow. But I thought i could write about America so far, i cant remember... oh yes i wrote a blog on Santa Monica now i recall. So, from there i got the greyhound bus north to San Francisco which took a whole very boring day, read my terry pratchett book (Making money, which ive finished now incidentally), and the meal break i was looking forward to turned out to be a burger king ONLY, wasnt so bad i guess. San Francisco was nice, and they had a big event on called 'Bay to Breakers' which is where people dress up in stupid outfits and run from one bit of coastline to another, i avoided most of this and only saw people wearing weird things on the bus. Spent my day going to find the golden gate bridge (you'd think it would be easier... but its not that central!) and then walking along the beach bit down there, then getting back to the hostel, also quite alot of effort. But that was good and had abit of a wander about, bought afew postcards. Not sure what i did the other days... but then i got my plane to New York, was very easy really, flight was abit bumpy but u did get afew complimentary soft drinks and peanuts. New York arrival was annoying cos the shuttle buses weren;t running and so i had to get a taxi and that cost abit more than the bus would have, but got to the hostel alright and was pleased to discover i had somehow got a single room with a tv.. apparently the dorm room i booked doesnt exist as they dont have dorms! So i managed to completely mess up my body clock flying to america and havent really got it sorted, alot of daytime sleeping and night time bad american sitcom TV.So now im in Boston and a dorm room,,, and i'm hoping that will force me into some kind of normal sleep pattern. Got my bus to Montreal booked for Tuesday, quite excited already :)
And looks like i might get to come home slightly sooner than i thought, although not as drastically sooner as previously thought. Abit of middle-ground there which has cheered me up, seems like just afew weeks of looking at things and then a little interlude before i come home, every one assures me that my time in Canada will fly-by.. wait and see i guess!
