Had an amazing first night in koh samui, staying in a lovely resort with a private beach! However after a day chilling by the pool and recharging after all our flying we had to make our way to koh phangan.

Just as we were waiting to board the boat to get to the island we experienced our first monsoon storm! And it was like nothing we had ever seen before! We then realised we still had to get on the boat..in the storm.. ( glad we didn't tell our mums before)!! It was the most scary boat ride we have ever had.. However we made it!!

We are now at koh phangan and have met up with Sarah and cara our friends from home. Our hostel is pretty grim and is a room of 8 boys and just us!

However we are loving the food and drink and have ate nothing but pad tai for £1!!
