After several hours of waiting in airports and 2 flights I finally arrived in Cebu city, it's definitely not what I was expecting the Philippines to be like. Cebu City is such a polluted and dangerous little place. Since this was the first time I'd actually been travelling alone since the beginning it was all rather daunting, however I wasn't alone for long. On my second flight from Manila to Cebu I sat next to Doug from Lithuania, he was with Agnes also from Lithuania; we were all heading to Cebu Guesthouse, so we got a cab together and shared a room. We arrived at Cebu guesthouse around 11pm, so we didn't do a lot just showered and then slept. In the morning we went out for some coffee and then we got called over by some sales people selling condominiums so as it started to rain we decided it would be fun to view them, it's actually really cheap to buy or rent these here, but there is no way I would live here. Once the rain stopped we went to look at a famous church called Santa Nino Church, it's a representation of JesusChrist as a child and is one of the oldest churches in the Philippines. We then walked through a market called Carbon market, it is Cebu City's largest public market, and sells everything from flowers, fruit, fish and souvenirs. Considering it's a tourist attraction we were the only white people there and it was rather manic. Just a few moments into the market and Doug had been pick pocketed; his Amazon Kindle was gone from his bag. There are kids everywhere who distract you whilst others will steal from you. We went to the supermarket and I bought some fruit then we got back to the guest house and I met Jason from America, he bought me loads of beers J and I was s***faced! Me, Jason a French girl called Gail, Stefan, Agnes and Doug went to Mango Square, where there are loads of bars, I loved it, I didn't stop dancing. Then we got talking to some Koreans who gave us loads of free shots of rum. The next day I didn't wake until 1pm then we got the ferry to Bohol.
