Day 23-Mykonos
Kallee, Rob, Kate, Dave and I decided to go into the town of Mykonos this morning to do some exploring. We wandered the streets, bought souvenirs, and Rob Kate and I got very neat henna tattoos, I love mine...Rob got a soccer team emblem on his arm, Kate got a rose on her wrist, and I got a small tribal flower on my neck. They should last about 2 weeks, the guy said. We decided to go back to the hotel for a bit to chill with the group by the beach for a few hours, and then the whole lot of us went back into town for supper, which was a delicious last meal in Mykonos. Afterwards, Amelia, Jeanette, Kallee and I found a place that made dessert crepes with nutella, bananas, or strawberries and whipped cream and enjoyed the amazing massive mess on the beach looking out into the harbour. Of course, we had to burn off all that goodness, so we went looking around in the shops away from the really touristy area. The shops are all different from each other, selling unique clothes and shoes, but were very expensive because a lot of them were designer outlets. However, sales were to be found! I found some really cute flats with a bit of a heel, and Kallee found a grogeous dress that she plans to wear on her birthday in two days. We ended up being on the opposite side of town that we needed to be to catch the bus, so we had to ask directions a couple times to mak it to the stop on time. Once back home, a group of us went out to the beach and talked, the some headed in to get ready to go to the club again. I stayed back, but Kallee went with the others, and got back in the earlz hours of the day, a good time enjoyed.
