We are now back in Auckland after spending over a week away touring the North Island. We hired a car for $19 a day which works out at less than 10 pounds, so obviously we weren't expecting a nice shiny new car. It arrived and was a dented, scratched, white Kia Rio. Sorry there hasn't been a blog entry in a while, but we have been taking it easy and chilling out with walks along the beach and not much else. We arrived over two weeks ago and went to the Auckland Museum, learning about the Maori culture and way of life.
