Mrs M thoughts of the trip - The weather gods have been kind to us, beautiful scenery, always changing. Like freecamps with campfire, Almost every toilet/ shower has instructions on what not to do or what to do e.g close the lid save the frogs etc mop the floor with the dirty filthy mop.
Mr M's coments = It is a big country and I probably happiest cruising along with Australia in my windscreen. I have won the petrol usage competition 14 lites per 100kms for the whole trip.
Mr B's comments = a big vast country, the landcruiser is the best to do this type of trip, but need a better van and more toys. Loved the campfires. I won the tyre competition, only one half flat caravan tyre. Extremes of landscape red dust of the Pilbara to the cliffs of the Bight. Will take 2weeks to get the rest of the red dust out of the van. many other travellers doing the same thing & I can see why. I suspect we might be doing this type of thing again
Editors comments - Great company, (including the blow ins - Britz rental and Hindmash Island Team plus Tom and Robe crew) great scenery, lots of good food and wine. I agree with all the above My summation tomporrow in next blog via a poem I have found that basically says it all.
Thank you linesmen, thank you ball boys for your messages and comments, see you all soon

Mr A. I have followed your journey and your communications have given me an insight into the country again. More than 50 years since i passed through this country and was amazed at it's size and complexities, in other words, i really enjoyed my five or six times up there, to see it all again has been great. It has changed, there were no real roads when i was first up there. You have made me want to go back again but at 99 years old i feel i am too old but not too old to enjoy what you have shown me again. Looking forward to being home again and hearing more of your adventures.
