After a day of rocketships left woomera heading north. The scenery was reasonable a tree or 2 and a few grasses, then plain boring. I have never seen such flat un interesting gibber ridden earth. Road so straight it made your eyes ache. I had to read to entertain myself. Then we had a discussion about how far the horizon was away. I thought I could see WA but Mr B said it was only 7 nautical miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Len Beadell entertained us until we finally saw piles of dirt dotting the landscape ah ha
Cooberpedy. Had a Mitchell Tour to the breakaways very beautiful unusual mesa type formations; Visited the underground Hotel and I beat a hasty exit. Not one for the deep dark caves etc. Beautiful weather Camp ground lovely but we had to pay 20c for 2minute shower and 20c for 40 litres water to wash up in. Saw the other park and glad we chose this one.

Peter Roodhouse That's cheap we paid $1.00 on the Nullabor for 4 mins in the shower. $1.85 for diesel. Tell Pete there are not any low bridges in that area!
