As soon as I got into the Dead Sea my body felt like I was in a lake filled with bubble solution. In swimming pools I cannot float so well but in the Dead Sea I floated right way because it was sooooooo salty. Everyone tasted some and it tasted like acid. The Dead Sea is really salty because it has no outlets. Any of the minerals that go into the sea stay in the sea. Other bodies of water usually have outlets like rivers and streams so the minerals flow out into other lakes and Seas. Summarized, minerals come into the Dead Sea from the mountains and there is no way for them to get out so over time the minerals dissolve into salt. That is why the Dead Sea is sooooo salty.
I could do some other weird things in the Dead Sea also like, Bobbing. I was jumping inside of the Sea and I was just going down and up. When I went down my head did not go under that water because all of the salt would force me to go back up to the surface. I could also stand straight up and run. It was really, really slow just like if you were running under water (because that was what I was doing) but it was fun. When we got out of the Sea there were people putting mud all over themselves so I decided to do it also. I put some mud on then rinsed it off and my skin was as smooth as a babies butt. That was my journey at the Dead Sea. One more thing is the Dead Sea borders Jordan (the side we went in and stayed on) and on the other side is Israel which we are visiting soon.
Thank you and please comment.

Paige O it sounds like you had a great time in the Dead Sea. I am glad that you were able to float in the sea and you did not have to worry about sinking. I wonder if people think the mud causes special healing. The water does not sound like it tasted very good. Miss you! xx
