Fiona had to work today so we decided to take a two day trip to Margaret river- hiring a house and car. We went into work with Fiona , then had breakfast at the same cafe, follwed by a walk across the bridge to pick up the car from the city. We had a three hour drive and stopped off at the cheeky monkey winery for lunch as we could not get into our house until 3 pm. Linda and I had a day chilling as Fiona went tow rok- a long walk along her local beach at Wakiki , and the I cooked us shripms on the barbie-well we are in Oz- another perfect day for the weather.

Got up early and went to work with Fiona , had 8 am breakfast in a cool cafe then borrowed her car and she went to work. Went to cotersloe beach and walked 4 miles along the front, stopping off at the blue duck for luch with stunning views over the sea. Up early and took the car to the airport andjumped on the 11.10 flight to Perth. We were picked up by fiona at the airport. She took us to her lovely house, near the beach on the outskirts of Perth. We had a few drinks and the a walk along the beach looking over the Indian ocean, it was a huge white sandy beach without hardly anyone on it. Windy but still warm. Packed up and left Noosa heads and decided to keep the car an extra day and take a trip to Steve Irwins Australia Zoo. Saw the great Croc show- why someone would get in an enclosed space with a hungry 14 ft Croc beats me. Saw the kangaroos, Koalas - lovely zoo but it was blisteringly hot. Headed back to hotel, went to the gym and then ate in the hotel followed by an early night, due to the early flight to perth tomorrow.
