Up , breakfast then we hired a long tail boat for 2.5 hours to visit the Temple of the dawn ( which was amazing with a huge golden buddah) and the Royal barge museum. We then went through the waterways which was a lock and canal system to prevent flooding. We were able to see how the Thai people lived . Arrived on Sunday in great time. Unpacked , had a quick snooze and then headed out at 5 pm. Caught the hotel ferry to Shepan Takis and pain 28 p for a tube ride into the centre! Went to silom street for the market and then we had a few drinks and had a trip down the infamous Pan Pong street- a market, bars, and every sought of strip and sleaze club you could imagine.Even though I was witg Linda I was asked to enter 1/2 dozen bars where there offered such delights...

7.5 hour Flight from Perth to Hongkong, followed by HK to Bangkok 2.5 hour flight all went well. Had a decent sleep- 60 min journey to hotel " The Chatrium" arriving at 12.30 after a 60 min cab rude thta cost 14 quid! Hotel right on the river.The room is reallyt big and it is chineses new year tomorrow. Had a quick sleep , before getting ready to visit the city.

Left the house, then went for a cool hippy style breafast at Prevally beach, follwed by a walk along the beach. Monday - Fiona took the day off work and spent the first 1/2 in bed with a hangover as Linda and I went for a 4 mile walk , aquinting ourself with the area and shops. Fiona roused herself and then we went to Freemantle where we went to little creaturs brewery for a beer and food. Had a walk around the quayside admiring the boats , then headed home where fiona did us some of her special prawns.Hot , clear skies and a little windy. Watched a film and early night.
