Monday The typhoon subsided at about midday so after some shopping,we went up to Akakusa where we went to a temple.Took part in aritual which involved shaking apiece of metal and waiting for stick to drop out-you then matched the stick with A number and read your fortune.it cost you ¥100if you've got a bad fortune you then have to go and play another ¥200 to stick a candle insome sand and cleanse yourself with some smoke-what a con! .LINDA and Janet got bad readings and smelled of smoke for the rest of the day!
The sun got out and had a nice meal before returning to the hotel. Anne arrived and we met up with Michael and Chocco in Ueno going for a few drinks , meal. We then hired a karaoke room for an hour and blasted out some tunes. Had a great laugh. Great day
