Up 7.30 Sunday morning for a full day trip -
First the iconic and now named one of the new 7 wonders of the world- Christ the redeemer statue at the top of Corcovado ( meaning humpback in Portuguese ) mountain. We were taken up the steep mountain by a funicular railway - 710 meters high with stunning views over the whole of the city - the beaches, lagoon, football stadium and mountain ranges.- simply stunning.
Then off around the whole city with our guide - vania - lovely women.
