Today we woke at 9am and had breakfast in the van, a banana, an apple and a yoghurt! We washed our faces with baby wipes and drove down to the Stonehenge carpark. Clint and Lauren bought their tickets to go in and I just walked around the outside of the fence and could still see plenty, they are only rocks so I took one photo and went back to the van. Clint and Lauren did the audio tour which took about half hour. We then drove to a little town called Bath, it was nice here and we has lunch together by the river and then did the river walk. We stopped at an old fashioned milkshake bar on the way back to the car and grabbed a milkshake. We then started heading for Manchester. Clint was tired so Lauren took over driving and I jumped in the front and Clint went to the back to have a sleep. As soon as I got in front we got lost and drove in the wrong direction for about half hour (I am now banned from the front seat and map reading haha...) Clint jumped back in front and set us on the right track. We had to sit in traffic for around 20minutes as a car on the freeway had caught fire, our van has a sunroof so I opened it up and stood on our table to see what was happening. It was getting late 7:00pm and we were still an hour away from where we needed to be, we decided to stay in Southport for the night as it would be less busy to try and find a place to stay compared to Manchester. We did some shopping for dinner tonight and our breakfast tomorrow! We then tried to find a caravan park for us to stay the night but all the receptions were closed (day 3 no showers) We then drove down to the beach and parked on the sand (photo used in this blog) and ate our dinner. Clint and Lauzi had Indian with rice again and I just got a loaf of bread and some orange juice. In the supermarkets here they sell hard boiled eggs so I got two so I could make a sandwich with a bit of healthiness to it. Lauzi had a spare tomato so I made a tomato sandwich too and then a vegemite one after that, I was starving! Whilst we were washing up at the beach for dinner we met an old couple who live in Vancouver, who are traveling the UK also, they liked our van and the lady got a photo of us and her husband in front of our van. It is freezing here and really windy on the beach, I was ok with my dinner as I could make it inside the van, Clint and Lauzi ended up bringing the little cooker inside the van to make their dinner. We are currently still homeless for the night and are just looking for a cheap hotel to stay so we can at least have a shower, so we are on our way to Manchester and it's 11:09pm here!
