Camryn's Great Adventure
On the 13th, we left Yuma. On our way out we saw tons of lettuce and vegetable fields. It turns out Yuma produces 90% of the United States leafy vegetables. We stopped at a nearby field where they were harvesting lettuce. It looked like very hard work and most of the workers were Mexican.
We drove to Ensenada, Mexico. We missed the turn offs for most of the hotels. We heard there was a small village just south of Ensenada called Santo Thomas, which is a small farming community. Later that day we checked into the only hotel in Santo Tomas. It was not the best hotel, but it had a good location and had an extremely nice staff.

Nanny I remember all the broccoli around Brawley CA and marvelled at who would eat it all. The water down there is contaminated and that scares me. I look at labels here when I shop.
