We left Hervey Bay and after spending a couple of nights at Burram Heads, are at a place called Miara, about 45kg from Bundaberg. We are getting into the flow of this trip now, I'm no longer wearing a watch and the only time we are interested in are the tide times as we are into the fishing now, although the only decent fish we caught was down to Chris on our first attempt. We are still here at Hervey Bay and have enjoyed a couple of lazy weeks. The weather has been a bit "hit and miss" but today the sun is hot and the wind has dropped. We have enjoyed settling into our new little home and now we are on our own, finding out how much of all this stuff we brought with us we do really need! After leaving Sydney in the dead of night with only one neighbour to see us off, we made it to Tweed Heads in good time.
