Dear Al and Joyce: Your posts bring back so many memories. So glad you are in Cambodia, you will never forget your experience and the people you meet. They will never forget you either. Sounds like some progress has been made since I worked there in the 80's but sadly, corruption is still the cultural norm.
When you are in Phnom Penh, try to get to PNP University and visit with Sister Luise Ahrens. She has spent her life rebuilding the university, speaks fluent Khmer and is an amazing person. You would love her.
