So about six weeks ago we were wine tasting in Mc Laren Vale with Jai and Belinda and heard about the opportunity to have a six course degustation and wine paring experience in a cave. So of course we had to to! We had planned on heading through Adelaide a bit quicker but decided to stick around, and we are so glad we did! It was amazing!

We started with a few wines upstairs in the winery before heading outside and down to the cave. Walking through the cave doors was breathtaking, with a beautiful candle lit setting.

The food was quite something as well, calamari, prawns, pork belly, and Rose jelly(very interesting), cheese and much more with beautiful wines to match. It was a bit chilly down there but it was so exciting we barely even noticed. We really did not want to leave but were politely told the night was over. This was an experience i would recommend to anyone for a really special night! Just be prepared for a bit of a headache the next morning:(
