We have been back from Africa now for some months and still wish we were over there exploring more of that fabulous continent. What an experience the whole trip was. In future trips though, we may concentrate on particular areas and see all the things we missed on the 4 month odessy.

Thank you everyone for your lovely comments about the blog on this website - and about my writing and the photographs. I enjoyed the writing and may even turn the adventure into a book.

At least one person - who accompanied us on the trip - liked my writing so much that she copied it almost verbatim and then presented it to an editor of a New Zealand 4WD magazine as her own work. She probably thought I'd never see the magazine and so find out.

Three parts of the series was published before I could have it stopped. My thanks go to the editor who saw the truth of my claim and co-operated with me in a most professional and amicable manner.

I suppose I should take it as a compliment that she thought my work was good enough to steal - and better than anything she could write herself! So thanks, Linda, for the compliment, though I am still waiting for your apology.
