Early morning taking a few photos of Dublin then to the airport. While waiting for breakfast two lads talked to me and I thought it strange drinking coke that early. However it was rum and coke. Taxi driver told us there were 15000 drivers in Dublin as it only cost 5000 euro to get license. He worked 12 hours 7 days a week. In eventful flight to Paris although seats were nice and soft. Took one hour twenty. Caught a transfer to where we are staying in a skinny street and lo and behold Collins Pub opposite front door. Had a walk around and Eiffel Tower only a couple of minutes walk. Apartment has been here a long time and two security doors to get through. Walked round corner and small shops everywhere. Bought a couple of cans toilet paper and dish washing detergent all in the one shop. The guy even recognized my French. Lucky I studied hard. There are eating areas everywhere and everyone is on the wine. Anyway going to have some dinner as have to be up at five for tour of the western front.
