...my train to Paris stops a couple hundred meters past the expected boarding zone which involves me and a couple dozen others running frantically behind it with our bags. Surprise!
...I unwittingly bypass some 200 Asian tourists dutifully waiting to clear passport control and use a "premium access" lane next to them. Nobody stops and I'm through in no time. Yes, as of today I'm a line cutter.

...on the plane (China Eastern, AirFrance codeshare) to Shanghai I watch, bemused, AirFrance's weird security videos: "Tighten your seat belts. This will not only elegantly highlight your waistline but also make your trip safer". Wtf?
...I'm annoyed with the French crew: they're polite but super disorganized in food distribution and ignore passengers completely At night I use the call button three times and in the end I have to get up and look for water myself...
