Well we made it to Perth finally at around 9am, we are now only 7 hours behind you lot back home. The train wasn't as bad as we thought it was going to be, it actually went fairly quickly. We managed to sleep quite a bit even though we only had chairs. There was a bar and restaurant on board the train so at least you could go and sit somewhere different for a while. Made a couple of stops along the way where we could get out for an hour or so to stretch our legs. The view out of the window was excellent, just miles and miles of desert. Once we got to Perth we then had to find our way to Freemantle, we managed to get a train straight there and luckily our hostel was 2 mins from the station. Hostel is ok, fairly basic but it has free internet whenever you want it so thats good. Probably won't see much of Freemantle today as we are too tired to go far.
