Today we headed for Wellingtons famous cable car and took a ride on it up to the Botanical Gardens. You get an excellent view of the city up there. We had a quick look around up there and went in the cable car museum which was er.... interesting, well it was free so we can't complain. This afternoon Robin and i both bought some new shorts in a surf shop! This evening there was a big storm and it poured down with more rain!!!

Today we went to Ta Papa museum, yes thats right we went in a museum!! well this was different kind of museum it was full of lots of cool things that you can interact with, we went in an earthquake simulator. Oh and the other main attraction to it was that it was free!!!

Today we explored Wellington, it is smaller than Auckland but when walking around it it seems a lot bigger. We really like it here, there are loads of nice cafes and bars. The weather isnt brilliant but apparently it never has good weather here, very very windy!

Today we had the morning free in the Valley, its such a nice place and it was a boiling hot day so we lazed by the river. We left on the bus at about 1.30 and arrived in Wellington about 7pm. It seems really nice here, we will proabably stay here for a week.

Today we left Taupo and headed off to River Valley. The bus stopped along the way at Tongariro National Park where we walked up to the big waterfall there for a picnic lunch. We then carried on to River Valley, its in the middle of nowhere! It is literally a lodge all on its own in the woods, the population here is 2 people! Tonight we paid to have a lovely big roast dinner, it was lovely!
