Slept in this morning, missed breakfast and took our time to get ready for the Mustang Show at Tuacahn today. It was going to be a warm day, unfortunately because our rental car wasn't a Mustang we were going to have to park a few miles from the event and catch a bus. We had parked the car and had a long walk to catch the bus then a wait in a long line, Mick wasn't too keen and was thinking of not going at all, then a beautiful Red '69 Mach 1 pulled in next to us; I offered the driver, Kendall our show registration if he would take us as passengers upto the show, it worked out well for both of us, he got to show his car and we saved our legs!!
The show was great with many mustangs restored better than they were when they were released from the factory, all those years ago. It took us the rest of the day to see them all with Mick and Randy enjoying talking to the various owners about there pride and joys and projects.
We enjoyed a BBQ dinner and auction before many of the show participants attended a concert in the ampitheatre, we had decided not to go and were glad, as we were very weary and sun beaten.
