Sawadee!!

As you can see from the map we are currently on a tiny spot in the ocean but it is absolute paradise. We arrived in Ko Phi Phi on Boxing Day and we havn't had any motivation to move since. For the past 7 days we have lived in a bamboo hut on stilts on the beach, its very very basic just a matress on the floor with a mosquito net and a fan and a hammock on the front porch- home sweet home. Our lifestyle has changed considerably as now our days consist of waking up between 10 and 11 due to the immense heat inside the hut walking a few steps onto the beach, sunbathing until the sun goes down have a beer at the beach bar then shower and go out for dinner then drink Thai whiskey buckets and dance on the beach. Your probably all green with envy i know but we are now starting to get a little bored of doing nothing so have booked a boat onto another place called Krabi where we will probably do nothing again.

New Years Eve was fun we went out for a beach BBQ then went to a beach bar called Hippi bar where they entertained the crowd with fire shows, fireworks, musical chairs with a twist (instead of walking round in a circle contestants were given an item which they had to retrieve from the audience, such as bras, thongs, condoms etc), and there was also some random guy who was sticking metal rods through his cheeks and lieing on broken glass. We saw the countdown in with a group of Kiwis (Karen we didn't eat them!!!) and drank copious amounts of Vodka Redbull which we are sweating out still now.

Lorraine -hope your hangover from last week has worn off now, i have the worst beety in the world my freckles have actually turned into blisters, not a good look!!Also thanks for your message i laughed out loud in the internet place.

Eor -thought i should let you know that Ko Phi Phi has no cars so no worry of getting ran over..again!!!
