On the road again
well we finally left Agra after trying our best to get out of tipping our guide who was more of an annoyance than anything else we eventually settled up with a tip of about 3 pounds i dont think he liked us much, we were just glad to see the back of him and belive me that was'nt a pretty sight his arse that is.
We hit the road around 12 after packing and checking out to what started out as a nice and steady drive we stopped and had tea and our driver bought some fruit, he told us "cheap and best fruit grown underwater sir" and as you can imagine we both looked at each other thinking water, indian water, this cant be good for us but we ate it and it was'nt so bad stilll waiting for the side effects mind you. After about an hour the road just seem to gradually get worse pot holes everywhere dirt flying everywhere and cows and camels pulling carts allover the place, this did keep us amused for abot half an hour as we were trying to see who could get the best photo of a camel.Oh how time flys when your having fun.We stoped for some more drinks about half way and something to eat we are still being very carefull of the food so we had some bread,Adventurous i know. When we set off again we got about 10 mins down the road and the driver stopped and reversed the car as he tends to do every now and then he wanted to show us where the fruit was being harvested so we got out of the car and down a little bank to what i can only describe as a pond with a man and a women sat floating on a piece of wood picking the fruit they then decided to come over and offer us some of there fruit (GREAT)we tried and supprisingly they were good.
We then stopped another 10 mins down the road to buy a sugar cane from these little kids at the side of the road infact we didnt buy we traded our half pack off miniture dime bars for 1 sugar cane which i felt was a decent trade and i think they did to as i thought all hell was gona brake loose when 1 boy got the whole packet and would'nt share (tight arse)We eventually made it to jaipur around 5.30 its only a small town in the mountains built on old ruins Ruthy said "this is what i would expect juruselum to look like"i thought that was well put. Anyway enough of this for now thanx for all your emails we love you all and will update soon love burts and ruth we love you rainey x x x x x x x x x x x x
