We decided to rent some bikes from the hostel today so that we could cycle round the whole island. The island was not very big, it would probably take 45 minutes to cycle round once non stop. The main strip is really busy but as you cycle round it gets much quieter and there was lots of gorgeous little restaurants and hotels. They looked very exclusive and away from all the main strip party havoc. We stopped off at a hotel beach restaurant called Karma Kayak to have a drink about three quarters of the way round. The beach was stunning! White sand and Palm trees with turquoise sea and there was hardly anyone on it. It was so peaceful and tranquil. It was a scorcher of a day too! We were there for about an hour or so, relaxing and sunbathing on the beautiful sand. After, we cycled back to the hostel to drop off the bikes and then walked along the main strip to find somewhere for lunch. Lunch was amazing, we're all really getting into ice tea, we have it nearly everyday. After, we headed back to one of the quieter beaches and rented a snorkel and mask. The sea was very clear and shallow until quite a long way out. The coral wasn't anywhere near as good as the Great Barrier Reef but still fun. I then headed to a little beach shack on stilts that over looked the sea. I FaceTimed Mum, Dad and Jack as they were all together in Durham. It was so nice to see them all together. After, I FaceTimed Evie, and then Louise. It was so nice to speak to them. Me and Eves lived together in Cardiff, and I've really missed her so was really excited to see and speak to her! We then walked back to the hostel to have a shower before heading out for dinner while our hair dried. We walked a little bit further away from the main strip to find an amazing restaurant called Scallywags. They had a BBQ on with an all you can eat salad bar. We had cocktails and chicken kebabs with salad. That was the nicest meal I've had since being in Bali. After we went back to the hostel to get ready for out night out. We were all buzzing for our first night out in the Gili's. All I can say is we all got very drunk and can't remember all that much! I think it got a nice kinda messy!

Mummy Sounds absolutely incredible - but please don't drunk so much you can't remember what happened !!! It's so dangerous to that - you are leaving yourself very vulnerable in a strange country - you would be helpless if a situation presented itself x ! Please x
