Day 28: One Last Sunset.
Well all good things I guess have to come to an end as we have just literally watched the sun set on our holidays.
This morning, Nic jumped on the trolley and paid her first visit to the Ala Moana Centre to squeeze in some last minute shopping.
Meanwhile I took Josh across the road for another (final) visit to the Army Museum - what can I say, he just loves the joint!
He and I then hit the beach and pool one last time. I think Josh knew the finality of the occasion, because it took so long to get him out of the surf and even longer to get him out of the pool. (Yes mum, I am aware of the irony!)
Still, it wasn't enough for him as he and Nic went back again in the late arvo for another dip.
For the past hour or so we've been trying to repack and squeeze everything back into our suitcases. I think we'll stay under 23kg - just.
We're currently taking in the Manager's Reception one last time, before we head out to dinner.
Our lift for the airport shows up at 7.30 tomorrow morning.
From there its homeward bound!
