Today is Wenesday. Its May 1 so a bank holiday (part of Golden Week) and so evrywhere is very busy! We had booked to go to the Skytree viewing tower. Having done some homework yesterday, we navigated the metro with aplomb and even arrived early. The first viewing platform was at 350m up and we were about at cloud level bur it did clear from time to time so we did get some reasonable views. They would have been better yesterday! Well, 14 hours is a very, very long flight and not one to be recommended! Suffice it to say that we won’t be doing many more - after we get home that is.The only upside was that having booked a Japan Airlines flight, we got access to the BA loungs at Heathrow which made the pre flight wait much more comfortable.
