After yesterdays exhertions we were able to have a lie in before the coach took us in to Knysna for a look at the local shops, which were quite boring. However we passed the time having a coffee followed by an ice cream whilst sitting comfortably overlooking the harbour. In the afternoon we went for a boat ride across the harbour to the Featherbeed. Nature Reserve. A ride. on a trailer up to the top of the Knysna headland was quite exciting but not as exciting as the walk back down which Joan sensibly declined!!!! Returned to the hotel exhausted but a few glasses of wine soon revived our spirits.
